Good food and service. It was not full, but they delayed so much the food.
Stopped by for lunch. Both pasta dishes were excellent; the carbonara was excellent and the gnocchi with Gorgonzola and walnuts was like a decadent mac and cheese. Didn’t have room for dessert but it looked good as well
I am sorry to say, that me and my friends did not have a great time at this restaurant.
We got some bread in advance. It came in asmall paper bag and tasted like nothing unfortunately.
Then the food came and we we were a little bit disappointed by the small sizes. The problem werent the portions themself but mostly the very high price!!! You pay way to much for how little you get. Even though such portions might be normal, that does not justify the price.
I am sorry to say that the food then did not even taste like expected. We were a large group and all of us didnt enjoy it.
Maybe a little music would help to stay in a good mood.
I normally do not write google reviews but here I felt the need in order to give some feedback.
We had a great night here! You have to try the Pasta Pici Cacio e Pepe - they are perfect!
This restaurant is so over rated!! The food was so incredibly disappointing. We started with a traditional Tuscan soup, Ribollito, it was tasteless, heavy on the bread and light on the vegetables. No flavor as compared to other places we've had this hearty soup. We ordered a secondo, Pork with plum sauce. The dish was unappealing in presentation, just 5 over cooked pieces of pork on a plate with a small amount ( tablespoon or thereabouts) of sauce. The meat was tasteless and dried out. We ordered two contorni ( oven roasted potatoes and a mixed salad). These were passable but nothing special. The wine was a house wine, One Shot, it was fine. The service was ok, but staff were on automatic. They were too quick to take your plates, and never asked how the food was. Probably afraid to ask. Lol. We were told this is where the local eat. If so this is sad.
Good food and great service.
We had the burrata with truffle, the steak with truffle, and the carbonara with truffle. It was all very good, although I think the burrata was the best. The portion was generous to say the least. We shared the burrata and a portion of liver paté between three people.
The staff were also very kind and helpful. We felt quite welcome and safe, as they were conscientious with covid-19 measures, without being constrictive or awkward about it. They were also very patient with my not-so-great Italian, as we were trying to figure out their desserts.
Also, thanks for the Spotify playlist! 😉
Loved it. Mostly Italian fellow diners and we loved our hot crostini and beef and pasta with truffles
Food not tasty. We’ve been in many restaurants around in Tuscany where food really good. Not recommend to visit this osteria. Also inside colder than outside (in January). Typical tourist place, not for real italian food. We were so upset with my italian husband after lunch here. We ordered cacio e pepe and gnocchi - was awful.
